Prior to joining the Firm, Carla ran a practice with her sister, Cynthia Canales. Cynthia is now also a part of the Firm.

Carla’s motivation to serve immigrants stems from her own history with immigration. As the only member of her family to be born in the U.S., Carla watched her parents and family personify the American Dream after emigrating from Mexico. Their story reinforces Carla’s desire to help others pursue their dreams.

Carla has a soft spot for animals, in particular, for her own four dogs and cat.
